Service Description

Discover how literature, dance, and art reveal values! In this self-guided online course, your teen will be introduced to works of world literature and culture (note: we will be reading the stories of various gods/religions and how their stories are passed on in song/dance. If this isn't right for your family, please consider the British Literature course instead). Each class is prerecorded and includes the following: 1. Lesson 2. Handouts 3. Literature 4. Daily lesson planner and guide 5. Rubrics for projects if you want me to grade them. Want more teacher interaction? Join the DIT (Do it together) version for an additional $75. This includes weekly meetings as a group. If you're interested in using this in class your co-op or as part of a group class in your area, please message me to discuss number of students (please do not make a single payment and show to multiple teens that aren't in your family) and how to create a class account. Every class includes access to Schoology, an online learning management system that allows you to keep up with assignments, grades, and more. You may join this class at ANY time after August 1. You will have immediate access to all units, projects, videos, and handouts. Units last a month. Unit 1: Poetry and Gilgamesh Unit 2: Selections from the Ramayana and Indian culture and the Shahnameh and Persian culture Units 3-4: The Aeneid Unit 5: Norse myths
