Join the Valkyrie Dance Project at the Upstate Renaissance Faire as a skirt dancer in the opening scene of this new offering at the Upstate Renaissance Faire! 
 
This Sunday workshop will teach you a short, up-tempo skirt dance combining belly dance and English Country Dance. 
 
For those who choose this adventure, you'll get to perform this on Friday, September 12, at the Upstate Renaissance Faire (at least 2x between 5-10pm). 
 
For the workshop, you'll need a 25-yard skirt, water, and lots of energy. 
 
For the Faire, you'll need a 25-yard skirt, peasant top/unboned corset (or similar outfit), and lots of jewelry! 
 
(Performers get a free ticket to the Faire the day of their performance).

Minimum: 4 dancers
Maximum: 10 dancers
 
Rehearsals: Throughout August, you'll need to attend a minimum of two Monday rehearsals 6:10-9pm at the studio
 
We will have a dress rehearsal at the Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 11, 7pm. 
 
If you want to dance in the closing song, I'll have a second workshop for that as well in July! That will be $25 or $15 for those who take both workshops.
